Hi, My name is Zoe Manners and here is my story of how The Face Paint Parlour started and where we are at today.

It began all the way back in 2013 when I saw a uni friend had posted some pictures of facepainting and I was fascinated. So I bought a small box of Face-Paints and paid my little 9 year old cousin £5 a week to paint his face- I was babysitting and wanted to teach myself. He loved this and so my love of facepainting began.

I started to get recommended for jobs. Word of mouth has always been my favourite way to market what I do. My kit was very basic back then, but my love for what I did and giving the customer/client a real unique experience shone through which soon reflected on the way I operated as an artist. After the lockdown period I rebuilt my facepaint kit remodelling a makeup artist box adding metal plates and magnets to my paints.

Fast forward amost 10 years and we have just had our busiest festival season yet, gained 5 new facepaint and glitter artists, a logo and banner, a new uniform and worked with both John Lewis and Heineken by the end of the summer! Our team has a total of over 37 years of Face Painting experience between us, which is phenomenal!

We absolutely love what we do and as a team we are constantly striving to be the best in our field with regular training and upleveling of our skills.

We pride ourselves on being the best in our trade and have lots of happy customers rebooking with us, with many booking a year in advance!
